Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Stapleton wanted to become a dentist in order to improve the overall perception of the field. He finds it very fulfilling to make this type of care less fearful, less painful, and less invasive for each of valued patients. Most of all, he wanted to work with people to help improve their confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Stapleton attended Sam Houston State University for his undergraduate degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He pursued their Dental Early Admissions program and was accepted early into the University of Texas’s dental school, which is regarded as one of the top dental schools in the country. After completing his doctorate with honors and moving to Dallas, he worked in Highland Park and completed numerous cosmetic dentistry courses at Texas A&M Dental School. Over time, he has pursued advanced training in a wide variety of specialty topics, including oral surgery, dental implant placement, and restorative dentistry.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

After years of working in Dallas, Dr. Stapleton wanted to return to the Houston area where he grew up to start his own family and serve his community. He and his beautiful fiancé Nicole spend their free traveling, staying active, working out, and being lazy sometimes with their English Bulldog, whose name is Brawnson. He’s also a big sports fan and follows the Astros, Texans, and Rockets!
