iTero Digital Scanner
Traditional “Goop” impressions are a thing of the past at MDRN Dental! Our iTero Element Digital Scanner replaces traditional dental impressions with highly accurate digital imaging that creates a 3D rendering of your teeth. This digital impression can be taken in less than 2 minutes and is up to 7X more accurate than a traditional impression, which let’s us provide a higher level of care and longer lasting dentistry.
Instrumentarium 3D Imaging
While digital X-rays are enormously valuable, their diagnostic scope can be a little limited in certain cases. When planning for advanced treatment like surgical dental implant placement or root canal therapy, Dr. Stapleton doesn’t want to leave anything to chance, which is why he’s chosen to invest in the revolutionary OP3000 Cone Beam CT scanner. This technology captures thousands of crystal-clear images per second, creating a comprehensive 3D model of the patient’s teeth, jaw, and other oral mechanisms.
Accelerated Invisalign
With our iTero Digital Scanner, we are able to provide accelerated orthodontic treatment through Invisalign. With a quick 3-minute digital impression, we are able to instantly show you a 3D rendering of your straightened teeth if you were to complete Invisalign. The digital impression allows us to instantly send the file to Invisalign and have your trays ready in half the time!
Intraoral Cameras
Patient education is important to our team, and intraoral cameras can provide a world of insight regarding your own oral health. The process is simple – we’ll navigate a camera-tipped wand through your mouth, capturing countless high-resolution images of the teeth, the gum tissue, and other oral structures. Later, as Dr. Stapleton is discussing his findings from your checkup with you, he can pull up these images on a monitor in the operatory as a visual aid, pointing out any concerning symptoms and explaining the benefits of certain treatment recommendations in a much clearer, more informative way.
Digital X-Rays
At MDRN Dental, traditional film X-rays have been safely left where they belong – in the past. We now use digital radiography for a faster, safer, and more accurate diagnostic process! There are no darkrooms to worry about, no hazardous chemical development that takes hours. Instead, the X-rays are captured and immediately made viewable on our computer system; we can even magnify and color-code them so that patients better understand what exactly they’re seeing. Any radiation exposure is also dramatically minimized by up to 80% when compared to film.
Soft Tissue Laser
When treating an area of the mouth that’s as soft and delicate as the gum tissue, our team wants to make sure to prioritize comfort every step of the way. That’s why Dr. Stapleton uses a state-of-the-art diode soft tissue laser for treating periodontal disease and aesthetically recontouring the gum line. The focused light beam simultaneously maximizes treatment precision and minimizes invasiveness – in fact, you won’t even need sutures! Post-operative symptoms like bleeding and swelling are virtually eliminated, and the recovery process is also much faster.
